Sweet amla candy is prepared using the amla(gooseberry) which is sour in taste. So, we add the sour taste amla with sugar syrup. It gives amazing sour+sweet taste.

Few health benefits of Amla:
Firstly, it has powerful antioxidant properties, it is used in Ayurveda for thousands of years to boost immunity and improve health.
Therefore, it has been used to treat cold and cough, improve digestion, enhance fertility, and improve hair growth.

Things required for amla candy:
*Raw sugar- 100gram
Preparation of Sweet amla candy:
Firstly, take amla and rinse them well. Then cut them vertically to remove the seeds.
Secondly, put the sugar and water in a pan. And, put them on stove and boil it until it becomes one string consistency. But, put the stove in medium flame.
Now, add the pieces of amla into sugar syrup and let it boil for 1 or 2 minutes. Then put off the stove.
Leave it to cool for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, separate the pieces of amla from sugar syrup and dry it well for 5-7 days in sunlight.
Change the pieces of amla to another plate after 2 days. While we dry it put the plate little bit slope to gather the sugar syrup which is with pieces of amla to one place.
It really takes 5-7 days to completely dry. Finally our amla candy is ready. We can use it for more than 6 months. So, make it large quantity and use for all the days.
