Sapathi kuruma recipe(How to make sapathi kuruma):

Sapathi kuruma recipe seivathu epadi tells us how to make delicious kuruma with Mushroom and egg. We mostly will make this kuruma in during sundays to make the day awesome.

Ingredients required for making Sapathi Kuruma recipe:

  1. Mushroom-200 grams
  2. Egg -4
  3. Curry masala powder -4 spoonful(Home made)
  4. Small onion pealed-10 pieces
  5. Garlic -10-15 gloves
  6. Ginger-1 inch piece
  7. Curry leaves-1/2 handful
  8. Castor oil-1 teaspoon
  9. Coconut – 2 teaspoon
  10. Roasted bengal gram-1 teaspoon

Making masala paste to make Sapathi kuruma:

Firstly put a pan on stove but it should be in medium flame and add 1/2 teaspoonful of ground nut oil and let it heat for sometime.

In addition to that add Onion, garlic and curry leaves and fry them till the onion turns light brown. Then add the curry masala powder with these fried ingredients. Then add the grated coconut and roasted bengal gram.

Grind them but into a fine paste.

Ingredients required for seasoning:

  1. Big onion -1 chopped well
  2. Green chili-3 pieces (cut them into four pieces vertically)
  3. Red chili -2 pieces (cut them into two pieces)
  4. Ground nut oil-2 tea spoon
  5. Mustard -1/4 tea spoon
  6. Urad dal, bengal gram -1/4 teaspoon each.
  7. Curry leaves and Coriander leaves- 1/4 handful (both)
  8. Salt -required amount
  9. Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
  10. Tomato -2 (cut into small pieces)

Preparation of Sapathi Egg kuruma:

Firstly cut the Mushroom into small pieces and rinse well. After rinse well, put 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric in water and soak the mushroom into that water for some time and drain out all the water and keep it aside.

Put pan in medium flame and let it heat for sometime. Add ground nut oil and let it heat.

After the oil heat for some moment add the mustard, urad dal and bengal gram dal. Let the mustard to burst.

Then add onion, chili and curry leaves. Let them fry until onion turns medium brown. Most importantly the onion turns medium brown while fry to get excellent taste.

Now, add the mushroom, Tomato, salt and turmeric powder. Let us fry them for 5-10 minutes.

Then add curry masala paste we prepared before and let it be little bit watery. Now add the coriander leaves. Above all our home made curry masala gives awesome taste to our recipe.

Let it boil for 5-10 minutes. Then add the raw egg by removing the egg skin. Don’t stir after adding the egg. Let it boil for some time nearly 10-15 minutes the flame medium.

Then stir and let it boil until the mushroom cooks well and the Kuruma should be semisolid. Moreover the kuruma should become semi solid state to get awesome taste.

Finally egg+Mushroom Sapathi kuruma is ready to have as side dish to sapathi , rice and roti. Certainly all family members like it!
