Ridge gourd diet recipe is made using ridge gourd available in India and all over the country.
The benefits of ridge gourd are extremely rich in dietary fibre and enriched with all the vital elements that include Vitamin-C, zinc, iron, riboflavin, magnesium, thiamine and traces of another minerals. It is low in saturated fat, cholesterol and calories that helps in weight loss.
Take 3 ridge guard and and rinse it well. And remove the ridges and cut into small cubes.
Keep it aside. Please cut the ridge gourd 10minutes before you start cooking.
Things required for seasoning:
- Big onion – 1 sliced
- Red chili- 2 or green chili-1 (cut into small pieces)
- Curry leaves- 4 pieces (cut them into small pieces)
- Coriander leaves – 1 teaspoonful cut pieces.
- Ghee -1tea spoons
- cumin seeds -2 pinches
- Salt – required amount
Preparation of ridge guard vegetable diet recipe:
Put Soil pot in medium flame. Let it heat for some time. Add ghee and heat it. Then add mustard wait until they burst.
Now, add onion , chili , curry leaves and coriander leaves and fry them well.
After that put cumin seeds and ridge gourd and fry them without adding water. And add the salt in between according to taste.
Fry it in low flame until it cooks well. If we want we can add little bit water to cook.
We need to fry until the oil comes out from fry. Now, the ridge gourd vegetable diet recipe is ready to take.
This fry would enough for 1 person for 1 time. When you take ridge gourd fry, try to have some raw ridge gourd pieces too.
Take this recipe without adding rice or anything with it. But we can mix with 1/2 cup of curd to fill out the stomach.

Ridge guard juice:
. Ridge guard pieces -1 handful.
. Cumin seeds with pepper seeds -1/4 teaspoon
. Curry leaves – few
. Salt -required amount
. Green chili -1/4 part of a chili
Grind them using a mixie jar by adding little bit water. Then filter the water part. Add butter milk and enjoy the delicious ridge gourd-butter milk juice.
Eat this recipe with it’s juice gives you excellent nutrition to your body and the skin starts to glow. I advise you not to take rice with this recipe. If you feel much hunger, at that time take small quantity of rice that should fill 1/4th of your stomach not more than that.
After having this recipe, if you feel hunger take small amount of rice with curd or buttermilk that should fill 1/4th of your stomach. Then have 1 tumbler of buttermilk.
For night dinner, Add some more vegetables with ridge gourd and make as salad by adding curd and salt. Finally our
