Coconut chutney recipe:

Coconut chutney recipe is the side dish especially for Idly, Dosa, Vadai, Pongal and Upma.

Ingredients needed for chutney recipe:

1) Coconut -1 (grated)

2) Roasted gram-100 grams

3)Ginger -small piece

4)Green chili- 5

5) Red chili- 1

6) Salt for seasoning.

For grinding:

Add grated Coconut, Roasted gram, Ginger, Green chili, Red chili and salt and grind it to a fine paste.

Ingredients of Coconut chutney

 

For seasoning:

1) Ground nut oil- 1 table spoon

2) Mustard -1/4 table spoon

3) Red chili -2 (Cut each into two pieces)

4) Urad dal- 1/8 table spoon

5) Curry leaves small quantity.

Put soil pan in stove in low flame. Add ground nut oil in the heated pan. later add mustard and Urad dal in the oil. Later add Red chili and curry leaves. Leave it for few moments until the red chili turns light brown. Finally add this seasoning to the  ground paste.

Coconut Chutney after ground.

Now, the coconut chutney recipe is ready to have as side dish for Idly, dosa, upma, pongal and Vadai.
