. Cinnamon 3/4 inch piece
. Cardamom 3 pieces
. Cloves 3 pieces
. Pink rose petals 1handful
. Mint leaves 1 handful(cut into small pieces)
.Coriander leaves 1 handful(cut into small pieces)
.Ground nut oil 1 table spoon
. Ghee 1 table spoon
. Big onion 1(chopped)
.Green chili 5 pieces( cut each into two pieces)
.Red chili powder 1 teaspoonful
.Curd 1 teaspoonful
.Tomato 1(chopped finely)
.Seeraga semba rice or Basmathi rice 1/2kg.
. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
. Salt required amount
If we want we can make the powder of cardamom, cloves and cinnamon. Or, you can use them as raw.
Firstly take the garlic and ginger in equal ratio and grind them into fine paste if we want we can add red chili too with this to make them as paste. Or we can use red chili powder instead.
Keep the powder and pastes aside.
Secondly soak seegraga samba rice or basmathi rice in water.
Put pan in low flame stove and let it heat then add ghee and oil. Let them heat and put the onion, green chili and curry leaves and fry until the onion turns light brown in color.
Now, add the powder of cardamom , cinnamon and cloves or raw of them. Then add ginger+garlic+red chili paste and fry it until it turns light brown.
And add coriander leaves , mint leaves and tomato then fry them until the raw smell goes off.
In addition to that, add seraga semba rice after rinse it well then add the water( the rice to water ratio is 1:1.5). Add the required amount of salt. Then put the lid and leave under medium flame for 1 whistle. After that put the stove in very low flame and keep the cooker under low flame for 2-3 minutes.
More over, here is one useful information that we use to see whether the water is there or not just sprinkle some water in the bottom of the cooker if it goes off soon then put off the stove immediately. Otherwise wait for few moments and try again then if water goes off immediately then turn off the stove.
Keep the cooker until the pressure goes off naturally. Then open the cooker and add coriander leaves( cut into small pieces) then change it to another vessel. Finally, Mutton biriyani is ready to have with mutton fry or onion with curd.
Serve it to your family members and all guests they certainly love this dish and give praise to you:)
