Mango candy

Mango candy is a candy made when abundant of mango available for us. So, this article says about how to make candy using mango.

Things required for making candy:

*Mango- 200 grams after removing skin and seed.( 1/4th ripen mango should be sour in taste to get tasty candy)

*Raw sugar- 100gram

*water-50ml

Preparation of candy:

Firstly, take mango and peel the skin. And cut them into small pieces as the shape you wish. But, it should be inch small.

Secondly, put raw sugar in pan and add water. And on the stove. But stove should be medium flame.

Let the sugar+water syrup becomes one string constancy. Then add the pieces of mango. And boil the mango in sugar syrup until the mango pieces boils 3/4th.

After that, put off the stove. Leave it for 15 minutes to cool down. Then take off the mango pieces from sugar syrup.

Now, dry the mango pieces in the sunlight for 3 to 5 days. Once it becomes dry, it is ready to eat.

Finally our mango candy is ready. Once it dried well we can mix some raw sugar and keep in air tight container(bottle). Or, we can just keep this candy in air tight container.

This candy lasts for more than 6 months. And it is very delicious. I never tasted like this candy before.

The addition of sweet with sour taste gave awesome taste.

Certainly every mom prepare this candy and give to your child. Because mango is seasonal fruit. Most importantly one who likes mango well, they can try to make candy and store it for the season when the mango is not available.

Most importantly, we know the health benefits of mango. Few benefits are low in saturated fat, sodium and cholesterol.
